Progress has been made, quite a bit actually. After looking through thousands of inspiration, I have come up with a design that I think fits my needs. I really liked how Azuki had the text on their screen being minimal, with a elegant clean font. Additionally, with all the graphics, it made me want to stay on their website and keep exploring. I want to recreate that feeling with my portfolio.
In terms of links and buttons, I wanted to keep things minimal and thus will only have links for:
- Photo Gallery
- This Developer Log
- Projects
- Connect
I think this is a good starting point and will allow me to add things if I find it is needed. Using Figma to prototype and then moving to Next.js with Tailwindcss I created the following.

The “vibe” that I want to have is a almost homely feel where you want to keep being on the page. I am currently leaving a small space underneath where I will be rendering a scene from Blender. Currently I am planning on putting a sapling like the one in the image below.

Next Steps
I want to get this out asap before school starts, so I will aim to get everything on GitHub pages so i can continue to work on it. With that I could still have the pages on the portfolio and add the finalized ones as time goes on.
